I have been looking at how I can improve my head drawings and I found out that the only thing that can help me practice better is understanding the human skull anatomy which is crucial because the skulls nature influences the look of the head and knowing the bones that create the form we see on characters whether realistic, stylized or cartoonish, the impact is all brought to you by the nature of the skull underneath the characters head. And knowing this has helped me to improve my understanding of the form of the head and not only that, it has influenced my knowledge behind every head that I am creating from the time of the study onwards.
